There is so much money being sent into Wisconsin from outside sources to control our election. Is this what America is all about? Is America for sale?

Over 50 per cent of our population does not have a degree, yet we are governed by lawyers. Where is the average person being represented? The lawyers make the laws to fit their ideas. Then they make the loopholes , for their own use.

We need plain English Laws. Not so the lawyers can read them ,but for all of us. Most laws even the lawyers can not agree on what is meant.

We need an average person as Governor. We have tried the other way and we are going broke. Cities are talking about going broke. The average person did not do this.

I am proud to announce that David Smetak has entered the race for Lt. Governor. He is in the process of setting up a web site. David and I will continue to fight for what is in the best interests of Wisconsin, not what is best for special interests. I will set up a link to his site when I can. 50 Million dollars is being pumped into Wisconsin for our elections. Do we need people from other states telling us how to vote. So, who is getting this money? Only two candidates were allowed to participate in the first debate. Do you think special interests are controlling this election? I would like to ask these two candidates what they would do for northern Wisconsin?

We can continue to let our lawmakers push their politically correct crap or we can take a stand. I believe there are a lot of people tired of government doing to us instead of working for us. Now is the time to stand up and be counted. We the people can elect a new group of lawmakers. Government has grown too big and does not care what the average person thinks. They either think they know better than us, or they want to rule over us. The average person has more common sense and real world knowledge than these highly educated politicians. They go to school to learn how to be a politician. Then making the rest of us regret our decision to elect them. You have a chance to elect an average person. The average person needs to be represented by an average person. You can finally vote for what is in the best interests of Wisconsin. Not what is best for a political party. The average person in Wisconsin has lost ground. The average person has had their home foreclosed. The average person is unemployed, or underemployed. The average person thinks that government is the problem. The average person is not perfect. That is why most will not run for office. I am not perfect, but I could no longer sit by and do nothing. The average person would spend less than a career politician. Anyone that spends millions on their campaign would not cut the spending like the average person. The average person wants the government to listen and actually hear what we have to say. The average person is what this state needs.

I would look at everything and everyone when looking at where to cut waste. The politicians idea and my ideas of what is waste are miles apart. The average person knows what waste is. It comes down to what we would like and what we really need. Politicians have a huge WANT list. Let us cut that list down to what we need. Nothing is safe. Government can function with fewer taxes and fewer people.

For over a year we have listened to POLITICIANS say what they are doing . They say that jobs are the most important thing to deal with. What we see is everything but jobs. The state and federal government keep passing laws that nobody cares about. Then they tell you how much they have accomplished. Vote. Tell these politicians that what they care about is not what we want. People want to work and take care of their families. They want government out of our lives. They do not want to be taxed to death. They want government to fix what is wrong and leave the rest alone.

What can government do to help us

The can stop trying to control all aspects of our lives. They have to pass one law to correct another law, which intern corrects another law. They keep trying to legislate every aspect of our lives. We are not selling ourselves to the highest bidder. Politicians want you to think they know better on how to settle all of life's problems. They can pass all the laws they want, but when it comes to enforcing these laws they make the punishment not fit the crime. They are making criminals out of good people. Some of the things they pass are just plain stupid. They do not benefit the people of Wisconsin. We need them to get out of our lives. That is how they can help us.

Education in Wisconsin

A dear friend and almost relative helped with my information for this site. She was a teacher. I asked her to help with my mission statement and my personal information. She did not say why are you even trying? She said what can I do to help. Her students over the years keep in touch with her. My sons included. SHE WAS A TEACHER. If I could clone her I would. I would have her in all the schools in the state.

A teacher can inspire or discourage. We can not throw money at the schools and hope that they will improve. I find that when budget cuts happen, teachers are the ones they look to. Some of the superintendent of schools get paid more than the governor of Wisconsin. Do they take a pay cut if they fail to achieve the goals of the schools. Not hardly. These people are supposed to be the super educated that can solve all the problems. I am not saying that they are responsible, but they get the big money. Their pay should be based on their achievements. Not their education.

Mandates from the government do not help the problem. That just adds to the frustration felt by teachers. We need to look at a variety of solutions. May be we should let teachers teach and not have them babysit. Parents have to do their share.

My friend told me that GUV was not correct. That was my choice. It does get attention. That was my choice. I wish everyone could know my friend THE TEACHER. She still inspires people to do their best. That is my goal.

the worst of the worst

Over this past year we have seen the worst of the worst in politicians. Both sides have not done what the American people sent them to Washington DC to do. The depths to which both sides went was awful. The only way to change this is to vote out all of the incumbents out. We need to get rid of politicians and elect American patriots. People who will work for this country not for themselves. We need more people who will put our country or state first! Please vote out politicians. Elect true Americans.

The politicians would have you believe that they have been concentrating on jobs this past year. I wonder if they count the jobs they have created for foreign companies. This next year they should concentrate on private sector jobs. We do not need more government jobs. Washington DC, and Madison create jobs. There are things that you could put off, or not do at all. We need jobs.

In todays newspaper a local company said it was expanding its operations in Mexico. There are too many companies doing this. Any company that leaves the country or expands to another country should have to pay any tax breaks they got, back. Any tax incentives, anything that local or state governments gave to them should be paid back.

The stimulus money for high speed rail service is the other problem. Foreign companies want to bid on these projects. They say they are the only ones that have the technology to build this. Our tax money going to foreign countries. This is not the only example. Green jobs, wind power generators, are coming from foreign countries. These green jobs were supposed to be our salvation. Cash for appliances, What appliances are built here. Cash for clunkers, most of the sales were for foreign cars. Whose economy are we stimulating?

people can make a difference

All my life I could not imagine running for governor. I am not perfect. I am a survivor. Whatever life or the government throw at us, we have to survive. It gets to a point in my life that I had to decide. How can I make a difference? This may not go anywhere but,why not try. You may say why would he want to put himself through this? My answer is WHAT IS THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN? I would like to leave a better state for my grandchildren. I want to know that I tried. I need your help to stop all this spending. I need your help to reduce the size of government in Wisconsin. Show the politicians who the government belongs to. Also I need a candidate for lt. governor. The two positions have to be elected together. There are not any Independent candidates for Lt. governor. Get involved.

I would like to thank the Mosinee Times newspaper. They printed my press release when others would not. Maybe others will follow. We can hope.

Today I would like to ask everyone. Does government ever spend taxpayer money better than you can. I am 60 years old and I really can not remember any time that happened. People in government were not supposed to make a career out of it. Politicians have made their salaries high, and the benefits high also. Government employees should not live high on the hog while the rest of us get unemployment checks. They should be paid by what they do for us, not to us.

Wisconsin wants to adopt California policies. California is going bankrupt. We need less government not more. The people know which direction is right. Cutting spending is my highest priority.
